Am I the only one that got a HIGH light bill this past month??
Wow, I could not believe how high it was!
Day's like these are when I panic are worry.. About how and where we will get the money....
On top of it.. Robbie's ex wife had the NERVE to ask if we would watch the kids for them on Friday cause she and her bf had to work.. SERIOUSLY?? I am not going to be her free babysitter.. We can barely afford to get by as it is, I am not going to be doing her favors.. I mean I know that may sound harsh.. Being as they are my step kids and all, and I LOVE them and love having them around because Shay loves them sooooo much.. But, she gets ALOT LOT in CS and she is a RN so they are BANKING right about now why we are drowning and she has the nerve to ask us to "free babysit" for her... I have thought about babysitting for extra money.. MONEY..Because we need it.. Not for free... It would be a different case maybe if the hubby was home to see the girls, and spend time with them but he rarely is home on friday's anymore and so there for it would be ME doing it and I already told my hubby, NOPE.. I will not be her free babysitter.. She can either get her a babysitter or pay me SOMETHING and I will do it whenever she needs.. I mean we need MONEY, So I am not doing it for free.. God that sounds bad huh? But surprisingly everyone else agrees with me that we know.. That I should not be her babysitter when we already pay her sooo much in CS as it is..
I just know robbie will be in a bad mood today when he finds out how much our light bill was.. I really do not even want to tell him... But I have too.. What sucks is he got NO over time last week so this check will be REALLY small.. And we will only have like $60 left over after paying just he light bill.. :-(
My momma always told me one day I would kn0w what it felt like to struggle.. And I am feeling it now and I must say it is hard to deal with and my momma is a strong woman for being able to survive hard times and come out on top because this stuff is BREAKING me!
It is just working on my nerves,my heart,my marriage,my kids..
I feel as if it's pulling us all apart.. Ha, and this was supposed to be "in the best interest" what a crock.. I see nothing good that has come from this on our part...

Here I am rambling on about things we cant change..
It just feels good to sometimes let what I am feeling out...

Hello all,
Just got back from our camping trip yesterday. I was SOOO not ready to come home.. It was so peaceful out their in the woods.. What I would not give to be back in that little cabin on the lake again! Their was no arguing, no tv, No nothing.. Just relaxing and laughter and good times with the family. Now we had to come back and face the reality of everyday life.. Work, stress, money issues... If it was not for my parents giving this vacation to us we would not of had one.. It was nice and well appreciated and we both needed it!
We went on a boat ride, fishes, swam, hiked, fed some HUGE coy fish.. Just had a blast. Mason really enjoyed playing outside so much. That is one of the things I hate about living in these apartments. Not being able to just go outside and enjoy the day.. I cant wait for a year to be up so we can move..

Robbie forgot to take the trash out before we left so you can imagine what our house smelled like when we got back.. On top of it.. Their was SHRIMP in the garbage.. It took a whole day to get that awful smell out of this house!
I will post pictures from our trip later

Banana spider eating a bug at my moms house

Hello,
Well, it's been a while since I have posted. I have really been slacking with my blogs! But I really don't have as many readers or commenters like I did when I had my xanga blog site so I don't really write!

Mason has finally turned one! It has been a VERY fast year! :-(
Time has flew by way to fast.. My baby is growing up!
Robbie had a good fathers day.. Made him breakfast and all the girls made him a card and each had a reason why they loved him.. Victoria's said "I love you because you are nice and play with me" lol and Shay's said "I love you because you are my daddy" (she said this on her own) lol and I can not exactly remember what the older girls said since theirs was in more detail since they can write themselves.

Yesterday me and all the kiddo's had a 24 hour virus.. Started out with Jade, then Autumn, then Shayleigh, then me, then Mason.. Tori and Robbie where the only ones who missed it! We was all running fever... It's over now, thank god!

Next weekend we are going camping with my parents in Newton,Tx.. This will be Mason's first camping trip.. Well, Kinda since we will be staying in a Cabin... Not a tent.. lol
Today we have just been cleaning all day.. One day of me being sick and the house looks a total mess! But we have finally gotten most of it done..

CS has started comming out of Robbie's checks and things are looking a little rough.. Kinda sad to see a man who makes $25 an hour have his checks make $480 a week with no overtime.. Ofcoarse he gets more if he works overtime..Which is what he does and HAS to do or else we would never make rent or any other bills.. We tried to down size to a cheaper apartment but they have nothing open right now. And we are locked in a year contract till January.
I know we will be okay in the long run, just a very frustrating time in our lives. I always wanted to be a house wife.. To stay home and do my crafts and raise my kids.. Not have someone else raise them for me.. But, I guess in order for us and our two children living with us full time to ever have anything other than the bare necessities, I will have to suck it up and get a job or go to school.
I will do another post and post some pictures later

Well, its been a while.. I keep meaning to write.. Just always have so much to do.. Only time I can really get on is when the baby is asleep, but when he is asleep, there is a million things I need to get done too.. lol

Mason's birthday is coming up so quickly! June 16th he will be one.. June 26th will be his party. He is growing up so fast and I want to take time and just PAUSE him.. Right here in this moment for a while longer.. Or maybe rewind to the day he was born.. :-(

Yesterday we got Victoria for the summer! :-) Well, Until July 4th.

Neways,
I got me a new camera! I love it! Takes pretty good pics.. Better than my old camera.. I think its been used to much and wore down... lol
Sunday we get the girls for a month.

I have no idea what we will do for that whole month.. I know for sure we will soon start working on Robbie's fathers day gift. I am going to take pictures of the girls and make a scrapbook for him and then I am going to get them to make drawings for him and all kinda stuff! :-)

Well,
Figured I would write.. Been a while.. But I have things I need to get off my chest anyways.
Things I have kept bottled up because I just don't want to stress my husband or anyone else out.. And I am not asking for sympathy neither.. Just simply wanting to write to get it off my chest..
Last week my husband and I went to court for a Child Support review on his oldest two daughters.. And they have bumped his payments up to $900 a month..$800 in CS and $100 in insurance..
And he already pays $745 for his youngest daughter. That is $1,645 in CS.. And they expect us to live? They expect him to pay his bills and take care of two more children? After all our bills, that only leaves us $45 a month. We have already been struggling some weeks as it is to get by.. Now, we are REALLY going to struggle.. We only have TWO bills that are not a must have and that's our phone and out internet.. The rest is our way of living..elec and water and rent.. How they expect us to by food? We get all the kids a month in the summer and we are expected to be able to feed and put clothes on them for a month on $45???
My husband makes GOOD money but the government has taken it all away.. I am all for CS.. TRUST ME! I have a daughter by a deadbeat.. But I think the amounts are WAY to much and I think us women get life handed to us on a golden platter as well... We can choose to not work if we want to.. But men.. they HAVE to bust their asses or else...
This situation has made me so bitter.. So stressed and so upset..Most of the time I try to put it in the back of my mind and pretend its not even real.. Or else it will drive me insane.. Worrying non stop about what will happen.. To my marriage.. My family.. Will we come out on top and be stronger or will the financial strain cause more arguments and eventually ruin us?
It's taking a toll on everyone.. Even the kids.. Robbie's oldest cries because she misses him.. She only gets to see him every other weekend and sometimes she barely gets to see him then because he has to work every hour he can so we can try and get by.. Its not fair to him and its not fair to his children that he has to bust his ass..
They say its in the best interest for the children. How is it when their dad cant ever see them because he HAS to work ALL the time..
He goes to work at 5 and sometimes does not even come home till 1 in the morning..

I spend many days in this house ALONE.. Just me and the kids.. and they love me.. but their daddy is the one they are missing and wanting to spend the already little time they get with him..

This is not in the best interest of the children in my eyes..

My Mamma's Easy and yummy scalloped potatoes!

Well, I wanted to share a little recipe with you guys.. My momma has been making scalloped potatoes this way for years, I am unsure if she got this recipe from any certain place.. All I know is I grew up eating them this way and they are super yummy and super easy.. I have 5 kids who are all different and all on the picky side and even my 4 year old who is the pickiest of all, loved them! All these things you will use, you will find in you're kitchen on any given day!

What you will need:
Salt
Pepper
Flour
Cheese
Potatoes
Milk

How to:
First off, pre heat you're oven to 350
I peal about 5 potatoes because I have a big family and we like ALOT lol But really just peal however many you think will feed you're family.
Slice the potatoes.
In a bakeable bowl, Do a layer of potatoes an dab some butter here and there. Then sprinkle some salt and pepper, and put a layer of cheese, and sprinkle some flour. Repeat these steps till the bowel is halfway full. Then pour milk halfway full of the bowel, put you're oven and let them cook until soft! :-)
They are totally yummy!
